The surrounding area is packed with local gourmet restaurants, from established shops famous for Kagoshima's signature shaved ice "Shirokuma" (White Bear), to pork bone ramen, satsuma-age, and black pork dishes. This is the perfect time to refuel before the evening fireworks, and the arcade is safe to explore even in rainy weather. 「桜島と芸術花火」は、鹿児島市のマリンポートかごしまを舞台に、錦江湾越しに桜島を望みながら芸術花火を楽しむ大会です。音楽と連動した演出や、色・形の美しさを追求した芸術花火が次々と夜空に開き、対岸にそびえる桜島のシルエットとの対比が鹿児島ならではの壮大な景色を作り出します。港の広い空間から遮るものなく花火を見上げられる開放感も、この会場ならではの魅力。海面に映る花火の光もお見逃しなく。春の錦江湾の夜風の中で楽しむ芸術花火は、鹿児島の新しい風物詩として多くのファンを集めています。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表や鹿児島市の情報で当日確認を。終了後は周辺の道路・バス停が混雑するため、フィナーレ後はしばらく会場で余韻を楽しんでから移動するとスムーズです。帰宅手段(バス・タクシー・徒歩ルート)は事前に確認しておきましょう。足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマホのライトを活用してください。

Tips

Right from the Tenmonkan-dori tram station. Popular Shirokuma shaved ice shops may have lines, so allow extra time. Using restroom facilities at this time greatly eases the experience at the evening venue. From Tenmonkan to Marine Port Kagoshima, travel by bus, taxi, or on foot (approximately 15–20 minutes).
