Isa City Summer Festival Fireworks Display Venue (around Hishikari Sports Park)
Flow of the course
About this spot
The Isa City Summer Festival Fireworks Display is Isa City's biggest summer festival, with about 7,000 fireworks shells launched from around Hishikari Sports Park coloring the night sky. The basin terrain, surrounded by the mountains of Kyushu, echoes the sound, giving a power that resonates through your body, quite different from fireworks in the city. The sight of large blossoms opening one after another to fill the sky overhead is a night that even locals look forward to every summer. In the climax leading up to the finale, with continuous bursts, there are moments when the entire sky is wrapped in light, becoming a moment etched in the whole family's memory. The power of fireworks set against the mountain ridgeline is unique to this place.

Tips
The start time has not been finalized, so be sure to check the latest information from Isa City's official announcements. Also check the official information for whether the event will proceed in bad weather. After it ends, the parking lots and surrounding roads get crowded. For the way home, it's recommended not to rush — enjoy the afterglow of the fireworks and move once the crowd flow has settled down. It gets dark underfoot, so don't forget a light.
Best time to visit
Be at your viewing spot 20-30 minutes before the launch begins. The finale's continuous bursts are especially not to be missed
