Sea bathing until evening at a scenic site of white sand and green pines. Swimming is free, so families can relax

About this spot

A swimming beach stretching along the sandbar of Amanohashidate (天橋立), one of the Three Views of Japan, open in 2026 from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 16. Swimming hours are from 9:00 to 17:00, and swimming itself is free. A calm, gently shelving shore backed by a pine grove continues along the sandbar, with parking, showers, restrooms and changing rooms in place, and beach houses available in some areas. Being able to actually swim while treading the white sand and green pines you looked down on in the morning is a pleasure unique to this course. From playing at the water's edge to playing in the sand, enjoy summer to the fullest until evening.
