A small fishing port in Taiza, Tango-cho (丹後町間人), where the sight of colorful fishing boats lined up gives an easygoing port-town atmosphere. Eateries serving seafood are dotted around the area, making it an ideal spot for a lunch of Tango (丹後) seafood. Take a stroll around the port and rest up for the afternoon swim. The scent of the tide and the gentle sound of the waves lift the mood for the sea ahead.

京丹後市丹後町にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月11日(土)から8月16日(日)まで開設。遊泳時間は9時から17時までです。沖合に突き出た高さ約20mの巨岩「立岩」を望む景観が特徴で、青く澄んだ日本海と白い砂浜のコントラストが美しいビーチです。シャワー(水は無料)、トイレ、脱衣所が整い、100台分の駐車場もあるため、家族連れでも荷物や着替えの心配なく過ごせます。波打ち際の水遊びから砂遊びまで、丹後半島の海を夕方までたっぷり楽しみましょう。
Tips
駐車場は普通車1日1,500円。遊泳は無料ですが、シャワー以外の設備は事前に確認しておくと安心です。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルが必須。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。
Tips
Eateries in the area can get crowded during the summer holidays, so arriving early in the noon hour is recommended. There is little shade along the port, so do not forget a hat and drinks.

About 1 hour. Finishing up in the noon hour before sea bathing keeps the afternoon flowing smoothly
