Izumo Daijingu Shrine (出雲大神宮), enshrined in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture (京都府亀岡市), is an ancient shrine known for prayers for good relationships and good health. Backed by lush green Mt. Mikage (御蔭山), the precincts have clear morning air, and passing through the torii gate brings a quiet, refreshing feeling. The path to the main hall is mostly flat, so even families with small children can pray without difficulty. The grounds also have the Manai spring water (真名井の水), and on days when you can draw water, stopping by is recommended. It is a perfect time for the whole family to pray for a safe day before playing at the pool.

2026年は7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで、10時から17時まで営業する亀岡市の屋外レジャープールです。大きく波が立つ造波プールは歓声が絶えない主役級で、1周200mの流水プールは浮き輪でぷかぷか流されるだけでも十分に楽しめます。全長100mのウォータースライダーは無料で何度でも滑れるのが魅力で、小学生から大人まで飽きずに遊べます。小さな子には水深の浅い幼児プールが安心で、しっかり泳ぎたい子には25mスポーツプールも用意されています。市民価格と市外価格が設定されており、家族の人数に応じて事前に料金を確認しておくとスムーズです。

Tips

料金は亀岡市民か市外かで異なるため、当日の受付で確認しましょう(市外の場合は大人1,870円・小中学生780円・幼児160円が目安)。営業は17時までなので、スライダーや流水プールは時間に余裕を持って切り上げるのがおすすめです。日陰が少ない場合があるので、パラソルやレジャーシートを持参すると快適に過ごせます。

Tips

Parking is provided near the precincts. In summer the morning is cooler and easier for praying, so an early time slot right after the gate opens is recommended. If you want to receive a goshuin seal, checking the shrine office hours in advance is reassuring.
