Located in Karatsu City's Chinzei Town, this prefectural museum stands adjacent to the ruins of Nagoya Castle, once built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a base for the Korean Expedition. Admission is free, with clear displays using panels and models introducing the history of Nagoya Castle and the history of Japan-Korea exchange, making it easy for families with children to visit. The museum interior offers views of the Genkai Nada Sea, building anticipation for your upcoming beach visit. With air conditioning throughout, it's also a valuable refuge from summer heat. 唐津市にある小友の浜海水浴場は、その入り江の地形から「キャランコ・ビーチ」の愛称で親しまれる海水浴場です。2026年は7月1日(水)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。切り立った岩場に抱かれた入り江には透明度の高い海が広がり、玄界灘らしいダイナミックな景観の中で海水浴が楽しめます。遊泳は無料。トイレや無料の日陰小屋も整っているので、日差しの強い時間帯は小屋で休みながら過ごせます。冷水シャワーは男女各4基あり、100円硬貨投入・返却式のため利用しやすいのも安心なポイントです。岩場ならではの澄んだ海で、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

更衣室はないため、水着は自宅や車内で着てから来場するのがおすすめです。シャワーは100円硬貨が返却される仕組みなので、小銭を多めに用意しておくと安心。岩場が多い浜のため、足元を保護するビーチサンダルやマリンシューズがあると快適に過ごせます。日陰小屋は数に限りがあるため、日差しが強い時間帯はパラソルの持参もおすすめです。

Tips

A free parking lot shared by the museum and castle ruins is available. The interior has spacious exhibition halls and is easily navigable with a stroller. The museum opens at 9am, and arriving first thing in the morning means it's relatively uncrowded and easier to view.
