A short walk from the museum, the Nagoya Castle Ruins spread across a high plateau and is designated as a National Special Historic Site. Stone walls of the vast castle complex built by daimyo from across the country remain to this day, and from the Honmaru (inner citadel) ruins, you can enjoy a grand panorama taking in the Genkai Nada Sea and the islands floating beyond. Many shaded walking paths make it relatively easy to walk even in summer. This is a unique moment—standing on a historical stage while overlooking the sea you'll soon be swimming in from a high vantage point.

唐津市にある小友の浜海水浴場は、その入り江の地形から「キャランコ・ビーチ」の愛称で親しまれる海水浴場です。2026年は7月1日(水)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。切り立った岩場に抱かれた入り江には透明度の高い海が広がり、玄界灘らしいダイナミックな景観の中で海水浴が楽しめます。遊泳は無料。トイレや無料の日陰小屋も整っているので、日差しの強い時間帯は小屋で休みながら過ごせます。冷水シャワーは男女各4基あり、100円硬貨投入・返却式のため利用しやすいのも安心なポイントです。岩場ならではの澄んだ海で、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

更衣室はないため、水着は自宅や車内で着てから来場するのがおすすめです。シャワーは100円硬貨が返却される仕組みなので、小銭を多めに用意しておくと安心。岩場が多い浜のため、足元を保護するビーチサンダルやマリンシューズがあると快適に過ごせます。日陰小屋は数に限りがあるため、日差しが強い時間帯はパラソルの持参もおすすめです。

Tips

Gentle uphill slopes continue to the Honmaru ruins, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Stone wall bases are uneven, so hold small children's hands while walking. On sunny days, don't forget a hat and water to stay hydrated.
