Known for its convenient access from the city center, it is easily accessible by train and is one of Kobe's representative beaches. Swimming is free, and facilities such as changing rooms, showers, toilets, and lockers are available. Three beach houses are also operating, so you won't have trouble finding food or rest. Whether you leisurely splash around at the water's edge, build sandcastles on the shore, or enjoy the summer sea at your own pace, the beach has something for everyone in the family.

Swimming is free, but some facilities such as showers and lockers are available for a fee. The summer sand gets hot, so beach sandals are essential. Since swimming hours end at 5 pm, it's recommended to wrap up around 4:45 pm to account for changing time. On crowded weekends, it's best to use the beach houses early to avoid inconvenience.

Best time to visit

From 2 pm onward in the afternoon, the sun is less intense, and you can enjoy a longer time until the 5 pm closing.
