A park spanning sand dunes just beside Ishikari Hama Kaisuiyokujou with wooden boardwalks maintained along the coastline. In summer, coastal plants including Hokkaido's flower "hamanasu" bloom, allowing you to observe up close the unique landscape characteristic of sand dunes. The boardwalk is flat and easy to walk, making it also suitable for stroller walks. From the observation space, you can enjoy expansive views of Ishikari Bay—the perfect spot to start your day with a panoramic view of the sea you'll be swimming in.

石狩市のあそびーち石狩(石狩浜海水浴場)は、2026年は7月11日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設される道内屈指の海水浴場です。ライフセーバーが常駐し、家族連れも安心して海遊びを楽しめます。特徴的なのは、貸出用の車椅子や専用トイレ・シャワーを備えたユニバーサルビーチとしての設備で、体の不自由な方も海を身近に感じられる工夫が行き届いています。トイレや炊事場、キャンプ場も併設されており、日帰りの水遊びから泊まりがけの利用まで幅広く対応。波打ち際での水遊びや砂遊びをしながら、夕方まで石狩の夏をゆったりと満喫できます。
Tips
設備や利用料などの詳細は現地の案内表示や公式情報で事前に確認しておくと安心です。北海道の海は本州に比べて水温が低めで、風が出ると肌寒く感じることもあるため、羽織れる上着があると安心です。車椅子の貸出やユニバーサルトイレ・シャワーを利用したい場合は、係員に声をかけるとスムーズです。
Tips
Close to Asobii-chi Ishikari and with good access from the parking area. In summer, there are few places to shade from the sun, so prepare a hat and sunscreen before setting out. The boardwalk has narrow sections, so it's safe to yield and step aside when passing others.
Best time to visit
Takes approximately 45 minutes. The late morning before temperatures rise is recommended for comfortable walking.
