A seaside beach in Zenibako, Otaru City, open from July 4 (Saturday) to August 24 (Monday), 2026. Characterized by a wide sandy beach facing Ishikari Bay, with free swimming. Clean restrooms and temporary toilet facilities ensure peace of mind even for families with small children spending a full day. Close to JR Hakodate Main Line's Zenibako Station (銭函駅), and conveniently accessible from both Otaru and Sapporo directions. Tips

The parking lot is paid, so it's good to prepare small coins in advance. While restrooms are available, there are limited shops and restaurants, so it's recommended to bring drinks and light snacks beforehand. The summer sandy beach gets hot, so beach sandals make walking easier.

Best time to visit

From around 1 PM onward, the afternoon sun becomes softer, providing ample time to enjoy activities until evening.
