About this spot
A popular park for local families located about 15 minutes by car from Otaru Dream Beach. It features a large complex play structure centered on a big slide and a spacious lawn, perfect for getting plenty of exercise before entering the sea. With plenty of shade, it's pleasant to visit even on a summer morning. Parking is available, so stopping by car is smooth. As a warm-up before swimming, start here first and play.

小樽市に広がる砂浜の海水浴場で、2026年は6月26日(金)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。石狩湾に面した開放的な砂浜が魅力で、遊泳は無料。仮設トイレも設けられているので、小さな子ども連れでも安心して1日を過ごせます。周辺は自然の砂浜が広がる素朴な雰囲気で、混雑した都市部のビーチとは一味違う、のびのびとした海水浴が楽しめるのがおたるドリームビーチの魅力です。波打ち際での水遊びから、砂のお城づくりまで、夕方までたっぷり楽しみましょう。
Tips
駐車場は有料なので、料金分の小銭を用意しておくと安心です。売店や食事処は多くないため、飲み物や食事は事前に調達しておきましょう。日差しを遮るものが少ない砂浜なので、パラソルやテントがあると快適に過ごせます。夕方は海風で肌寒く感じることもあるので、羽織るものを1枚持っていくと安心です。
Tips
Parking is free but spaces are limited, so arriving early in the morning is recommended. The play equipment is designed for a wide range of children's ages, and it's reassuring for small children if an adult accompanies them. There are also restrooms.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. The 10 a.m. time slot right after opening is uncrowded and easy to play in.
