JR Teine Station, the nearest station to Teine Pool, serves as the gateway to Teine Ward, Sapporo. Local shops and bus stops cluster around the station, making it a perfect place to get a feel for the neighborhood you will be spending the day in. It is not a major tourist attraction, but simply walking around the calm, everyday atmosphere of the station area can put you in the excited mood of a trip just beginning. Take a leisurely walk here as a family, as a bit of a warm-up before heading to the pool.

Tips

The sidewalks around the station are well maintained, making it easy to walk with a stroller. It is a good idea to pick up drinks, sunscreen, and other small items you will need at the pool here. Keep your stay short and give yourself plenty of time to move on to Maeda Forest Park next.
