Teine Pool, an outdoor leisure pool in Teine Ward, Sapporo, will be open in 2026 from Saturday, July 11 to Sunday, August 23, with hours from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. The highlight is the lazy river, which is plenty of fun just floating along on an inner tube. Changing rooms are fully equipped separately for men and women, and with free showers and lockers, you can enjoy yourself without worrying about your belongings, which is another reassuring point. The grounds have a concession stand and a large cafeteria, covering everything from lunch to light snacks on site. Admission is a family-friendly 1,000 yen for adults, 390 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 500 yen for high school students, and 390 yen for those aged 65 and over, making it a classic spot to spend a full summer vacation day enjoying the water.

With changing rooms, showers, and lockers all in place, you can travel light even with minimal spare clothing. For lunch, you can use the concession stand or the large cafeteria; if you want to avoid the crowds, it is recommended to secure a spot right after entering before heading off to eat. Since the pool closes at 4:30 pm, plan to wrap up a little early to allow time for packing up.

Entering at noon lets you secure a spot before the midday crowds peak, and you can play plenty until closing time at 4:30 pm
