About this spot

A roadside station in Togane City (東金市), popular for its direct-sales market lined with fresh vegetables grown by local farmers and seafood from the Kujukuri coast (九十九里). It is just right for shopping on the way to the beach, and handy for picking up drinks and snacks. The shop also stocks souvenirs unique to this area, and stopping by in the morning leaves more room in the afternoon plan. There is rest space inside as well, built so that families with small children can easily take a breather.

Tips

The parking lot is large and easy to use, making it a convenient starting point for travel by car. There are few shops at the beach, so buying drinks and snacks all at once here is reassuring.

About 1 hour. The morning right after opening has the best selection and is recommended
