Sea bathing until evening on white sand drawing an arc
About this spot
Onjuku Beach (御宿海水浴場), spreading across Onjuku Town, Isumi District (夷隅郡御宿町), is one of Boso's (房総) representative swimming beaches, where the three shores of Chuo, Hama and Iwawada (中央・浜・岩和田) link together in an arc. In 2026 it is open from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 23, with hours from 8:30 to 17:00. The gently shelving sand with calm waves can be enjoyed with peace of mind even by families with small children, from playing at the water's edge to building sandcastles. Paid parking is also provided around the beach, which is a welcome point for visiting by car. You can spend a summery stretch of time fitting for the finale of the day.
