Located a few minutes south by car along the coast from Kamogawa Sea World, this is a michi no eki (rest stop). It features restaurants using locally caught seafood and a farm stand selling fresh vegetables and marine products—an ideal place to stop for lunch before swimming. With an ocean-view terrace and rest areas, it's a comfortable environment even for families with children. After eating here, head to Maehara Beach.

鴨川市にある前原海水浴場は、2026年は7月19日(日)から8月23日(日)まで、9時から16時まで開設されます。監視所とシャワー、トイレが整備され、砂浜には複数の海の家が営業しているため、ロッカーや更衣室を利用しながら安心して1日を過ごせます。遊泳は無料で、家族みんなで波打ち際の水遊びから砂遊びまでたっぷり楽しめる、鴨川らしい落ち着いた雰囲気のビーチです。午後の時間をゆったりと使って、夏の海を満喫しましょう。
Tips
駐車場は市営芝浜駐車場(1日1,000円)と、無料で利用できる市営駅西口駐車場の2つから選べます。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルが必携です。営業時間は16時までなので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。
