Maehara Beach in Kamogawa City will be open from July 19 (Sunday) through August 23 (Sunday), 2026, from 9 AM to 4 PM. Equipped with lifeguard stations, showers, and restrooms, with multiple beach houses operating on the sand, you can safely spend the day using lockers and changing rooms. Swimming is free, making it a relaxing Kamogawa-style beach where the whole family can enjoy water play along the shoreline as well as sand play. Spend the afternoon leisurely and fully enjoy the summer sea.

Tips

Choose between two parking options: the city-operated Shibahama Parking Lot (1,000 yen per day) or the free city-operated Station West Entrance Parking Lot. Beach sandals are essential as the summer sand gets very hot. With operating hours until 4 PM, it's recommended to wrap up about 15 minutes before to allow time for changing.

Best time to visit

From early afternoon onward, the sun is stable and ideal for plenty of swimming until 4 PM.
