Kyuhozeji Teramachi, located near Kyuhozeji Green Area Pool, is a historic temple town that developed around Kensho-ji Temple during the Sengoku period. Traditional townhouses with earthen walls and latticed doors line the streets, with historic walking areas quietly nestled within residential neighborhoods. Before splashing around at the pool, a leisurely walk through the streetscape during the cool morning hours provides a perfect mental reset. It's a pleasant stroll where you and your children can experience the atmosphere of an old town while building anticipation for water play.

Since there are many residential roads through residential areas, walk quietly while being careful of vehicular traffic. Plan for a stay of around 30–40 minutes; completing this in the morning before it gets hot makes it easier to plan the rest of your day.
