A pine forest park spread across an area near Hitotsuha Beach (一ツ葉海岸), northeast of Miyazaki city center. Walking trails are established within the black pine grove that has grown under the sea breezes from Hyuga-nada (日向灘), and you can choose shaded routes, making it relatively cool even on summer mornings. The park also features "Misogi Pond" (みそぎ池) associated with Japanese mythology, where you can enjoy the serene atmosphere of greenery and water. Close to both Phoenix Natural Zoo and SeaGaia, it's conveniently located as a starting point for your day. A light walk before the pool will make your afternoon water play even more enjoyable.
Tips
Since parking is divided into multiple lots, choosing the parking area closer to Phoenix Natural Zoo makes morning and afternoon travel smooth. On sunny days, choosing shaded routes under the pine trees allows for cooler walking.
Best time to visit
Approximately 40 to 50 minutes required. A morning stroll before temperatures peak is recommended.
