A roadside station in Ajisu, Yamaguchi City, where local farm produce and seafood come together. In the morning the summer vegetables and fruit that have just been laid out look wonderfully fresh, and simply walking around is a fun time for children. You can also get food to take away such as bento boxes, bread and rice balls, so securing lunch for the park in advance makes the afternoon much easier. It is well equipped as a driving rest stop, so there is little worry about toilets or diaper changes. Yamaguchi Kirara Expo Memorial Park is only a short drive away.

Tips

Check opening hours and closing days in the roadside station's official information. Food spoils easily in summer, so a cooler bag and ice packs are reassuring. Stopping by in the morning before the crowds is recommended. Buying all your drinks here saves you the trouble of restocking at the park.
