鶴岡市の日本海沿いに広がる海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで、8時30分から17時までの遊泳時間で開設されます。すぐ隣に鶴岡市立加茂水族館が建つ立地で、海水浴の前後に涼しい館内で過ごせるのも魅力のひとつ。トイレや救護所が整い、監視員も常駐しているため、小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせます。遊泳はもちろん、駐車場も無料で利用でき、気軽に日本海の海水浴を楽しめるビーチです。波打ち際での水遊びから砂遊びまで、夕方までゆっくり夏を満喫しましょう。
Tips
駐車場・遊泳ともに無料です。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルを忘れずに。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで16時45分ごろには切り上げるのがおすすめです。すぐ隣の加茂水族館のトイレや売店も利用できます。
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Kamo Rainbow Beach. Restaurants can be busy in the summer holiday season, so arriving early in the 12:00 hour is recommended. There are footbath spots too, so stopping by after your meal for a breather is another good option.
