An art museum on a high plateau near Hamada Port with children's creativity as its theme. In addition to collections of picture books and children's paintings from around the world, there is a hands-on sculpture corner for interactive play, offering a different way to enjoy the morning compared to the aquarium. From inside the museum, you can see Hamada Port and the Sea of Japan, building anticipation for the sea ahead. As an indoor facility, it provides a welcome respite from the intense summer heat for families.

浜田市の石見海浜公園内に広がる海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設されます。遊泳時間は9時から17時まで、遊泳料・駐車場ともに無料で楽しめる家族に優しいビーチです。シャワーとコインロッカーが完備されているほか、パラソルのレンタルもあるため手荷物を減らして身軽に過ごせます。ライフセーバーが常駐して見守ってくれるので、小さな子どもの水遊びも安心。すぐ隣にはしまね海洋館アクアスもあり、公園全体が1日遊べる海辺のレジャースポットになっています。波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで石見の海を満喫しましょう。
Tips
駐車場は無料ですが夏休みの週末は満車になりやすいので、早めの到着がおすすめです。シャワー・コインロッカーは完備されているものの数に限りがあるため、早い時間の利用が快適。パラソルは現地でレンタルできますが数に限りがあるので、持参できる場合は準備しておくと安心です。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで16時45分ごろには切り上げましょう。
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Aquas in the Hamada Port area. The museum features nursing rooms and baby carriage storage for families with small children. Dining options are scattered throughout the area, so finishing lunch here before heading to the beach makes the day flow smoothly.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes required. Mid-morning before lunch is relatively quiet, allowing for a relaxed visit.
