A beach situated within Ishimi Kaihhin Kouen in Hamada City, open from July 18 (Saturday) to August 23 (Sunday) in 2026. With swimming hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., both swimming and parking are free, making it a family-friendly beach. Showers and coin lockers are fully equipped, and parasol rentals are available so you can travel light. With lifeguards on duty providing supervision, small children's water play is safe. Shimane Marine Science Museum Aquas is right next door, making the entire park a full-day seaside leisure destination. From wading in the water's edge to building sandcastles, enjoy the Ishimi Sea to the fullest until evening.

Tips

Parking is free, but the parking lot gets full on summer vacation weekends, so arriving early is recommended. While showers and coin lockers are fully equipped, they are limited in number, so using them early is more comfortable. Parasols are available for rent on-site but are in limited supply, so bringing your own if possible provides peace of mind. Since swimming hours end at 5 p.m., plan to finish around 4:45 p.m. to allow time for changing.

Best time to visit

After 2 p.m., the sun's intensity eases somewhat, providing plenty of time to swim until evening.
