Located in a hilltop park with Hitomaru Shrine (人丸神社), dedicated to the poet Kakinomoto no Hitomaro, the observation deck offers sweeping views of the Gono River estuary and the Sea of Japan. The shrine grounds are surrounded by trees and remain relatively cool and easy to walk even in summer. With stone steps and walking paths available, you can enjoy the scenery while getting some light exercise with your children. Getting some light movement before entering the pool makes the afternoon water activities all the more enjoyable.

2026年は7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで営業する、江津市・江津中央公園にある屋外レジャープールです。本格的な8コースの50mプールでは泳ぎ盛りの子どもや大人もしっかり泳ぎを楽しめ、隣接する徒渉プールにはスライダー3連と人工滝が備わり、小さな子どもも水しぶきを浴びながら夢中で遊べます。日除け上家が設置されているので、真夏の強い日差しの中でも休憩を挟みながら安心して過ごせます。料金は小中学生110円・高校生220円・一般440円・幼児(大人同伴)550円と手ごろで、家族みんなで気軽に利用できるのも魅力です。営業時間は10:00から18:00まで(最終受付17:30)のため、お昼から入場すれば夕方までたっぷり水遊びを満喫できます。

Tips

最終受付は17:30、営業終了は18:00なので、遅くとも17時台前半には入場を済ませておくと安心です。日除け上家はありますが数に限りがあるため、入場したらまず場所を確保すると過ごしやすくなります。飲み物や軽食は事前に道の駅などで調達しておくとスムーズです。

From the parking lot to the shrine and observation deck, there are gentle slopes and stone steps, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In summer, insect repellent is helpful for peace of mind. Keep the stay brief and head to the pool before midday for a more comfortable schedule.
