A swimming beach in Utsumicho, Fukuyama City (福山市内海町), open in 2026 from Tuesday 14 July to Sunday 23 August. The sands spread along a calm inlet typical of the Seto Inland Sea (瀬戸内海), and the water, ringed by islands, is notably still. Shops, a barbecue area and a rest house are in place, and during the season a floating obstacle course is set up on the water, making it popular not only for splashing at the water's edge but as an attraction for active play. You will also see families enjoying a barbecue with the sea in view — a summer beach that captures Utsumicho.

Cross the Utsumi Ohashi Bridge (内海大橋) to reach Utsumicho (内海町). Charges for the shops, barbecue area and rest house vary by facility, so checking the notices and information on site is the reliable approach. Summer sand gets hot, so beach sandals are a must. Take on the floating obstacle course within comfortable limits, according to each child's build and swimming ability.

In the afternoon the sun eases a little, and there is plenty of time for both sea play and the obstacle course until evening
