Water guns, a splash pond and floating stepping stones until evening

About this spot

An outdoor leisure pool inside Astamuland Tokushima (あすたむらんど徳島), open in 2026 from Saturday 18 July to Sunday 30 August. It operates mainly at weekends and on public holidays; in August it opens daily except 19 August, and it also opens specially on the Wednesdays of 5, 12 and 26 August, making it easier to fit around family plans. The shallow areas, about 20 cm deep, are at its heart, with water guns, a splash pond and floating stepping stones providing features small children can enjoy safely. Entry is free, and the ease of simply needing a swimsuit to start playing is part of the appeal. Cool off in the fountains and mist and enjoy the water right up to closing at 17:00. It is one of Tokushima Prefecture's most popular water-play spots for families.

Tips

Hours are 11:00 to 17:00, so planning to finish playing by the 16:00 hour at the latest is reassuring. Opening days are limited outside weekends and public holidays, so always check the opening calendar on the official site before you visit. Some spots such as the floating stepping stones are slippery, so water-play sandals add safety.

Entering in the 12:00 hour gives you plenty of water play from the afternoon through to evening
