Its form, standing upright in the sea after enduring wave erosion, is known as one of the scenic spots representative of Izu Oshima. From the surrounding observation areas, you can enjoy the landscape unique to Izu Oshima, created by the contrast of blue sea and black lava rock. 大島町・トウシキ海岸に位置する海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで、9時から16時の時間で開設されます。伊豆大島ならではの黒い溶岩の岩場に囲まれた入り江状の地形で、波が穏やかな日は磯遊びと海水浴の両方を楽しめる人気のスポットです。透明度の高い海は大島らしい景観で、島の夏を象徴する景色のひとつです。遊泳は無料で楽しめるので、島を巡ったあとの締めくくりにも気兼ねなく立ち寄れます。夕方の営業終了時間までゆっくり過ごし、大島の海と1日をたっぷり満喫しましょう。

Tips

遊泳時間は9時から16時までなので、終了時刻から逆算して余裕をもって切り上げましょう。売店やシャワーなどの設備については事前に大島町の公式情報で確認しておくと安心です。岩場が多いエリアなので、ビーチサンダルやマリンシューズがあると足元を守れます。
