Located just north of Zanpa Beach, this cape park is one of Okinawa's premier scenic spots. A roughly 30m cliff face extends about 2km with dramatic raised coral rock faces contrasting the deep blue sea. The iconic Zanpa Cape Lighthouse can be climbed for panoramic East China Sea views on clear days. Wide grassy grounds perfect for pre-swim play. 読谷村を代表する海水浴場で、2026年は4月1日(水)から10月31日(土)まで開設。営業時間は9時から18時までです。約2kmにわたって続く白い砂浜と、遠浅で穏やかなエメラルドグリーンの海が魅力で、沖縄本島でも人気の高いビーチのひとつ。更衣室ロッカー(200円)とシャワー(200円)、売店が整っているので、大きな荷物を持たずに気軽に立ち寄れます。波打ち際での水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり沖縄の海を満喫しましょう。
Tips
残波岬公園から車で3分ほど。ロッカーとシャワーはそれぞれ200円が目安で、小銭を用意しておくとスムーズです。夏の砂浜は日差しが強いので、パラソルや日よけテントがあると快適。営業終了は18時なので、着替えの時間を見込んで余裕を持って切り上げましょう。
Tips
About 3 minutes by car from Zanpa Beach. The lighthouse has stairs only—strollers aren't allowed. Some cliff areas lack railings, so hold small children's hands.
