Nagahama City Public Pool operates from July 4 (Saturday) through August 30 (Sunday), 2026 (limited operation through July 17 on 7/4, 5, 11, 12 only, then daily from July 18). The 140-meter current pool is fun just floating along on a ring, and two water slides provide thrills. The shallow toddler pool is safe for small children, and the 25-meter pool (8 lanes) satisfies children and adults who want to swim seriously. With 230 parking spaces, the facility is easily accessible by car. A great summer spot to enjoy plenty of water play from noon through evening.

Tips
Rates are 800 yen for adults (Nagahama residents), 1,000 yen for adults (non-residents), 400 yen for junior high school students and under, and free for under 3 years. Operating hours are 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM, but weekdays close at 3:00 PM, so early entry is recommended for weekday visits. Prepare extra sunscreen and towels for a worry-free experience.
Best time to visit
Entering at noon allows you to secure a spot before afternoon crowds and enjoy plenty of play until closing time.
