A glass art specialty museum situated on a hilltop overlooking Nanao Bay. The unique building itself, resembling a space station, is a highlight, and the interior displays glass works by domestic and international artists. Outdoor glass sculptures are scattered throughout the grounds, glistening brilliantly against the blue sea and sky—beautiful enough just to stroll around. Tips

The museum features a barrier-free design making it easy to view with a stroller. The outdoor sculpture area has grass and slopes, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Nearby Noto Island Glass Workshop offers glassblowing demonstrations; if time permits, you can enjoy that as well.
