A beach in Uranura, Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, open from July 26, 2026 (Sunday) to August 16, 2026 (Sunday). Facing Nanao Bay's inner waters, the waves are calm and, compared to outer ocean beaches, easier for small children to enter. The area is equipped with temporary toilets and parking, with lifeguards on duty, so even first-time swimmers can relax. From the sandy shore, you can see the verdant island silhouette of Noto Island, enjoying peaceful summer hours far from urban bustle. Enjoy a full day—from wave play at the water's edge to floating rings and beach balls—until evening.

Tips

The parking lot is available while lifeguards are on duty. While temporary toilets are provided, facilities like changing rooms and shops are limited, so prepare clothes and drinks in advance for comfort. The summer sand gets intense sun, so umbrellas or beach tents make a big difference. Especially during midday, the sun is strong, so drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks.

Best time to visit

Afternoon from 1 PM onwards when the sun becomes milder, allowing leisurely play in the calm sea until evening.
