A free park adjacent to Noto-jima Aquarium and Glass Art Museum, with views of Nanao Bay. It features spacious lawns and shelters, offering just the right scale for strolling and resting. With its oceanfront location, you can build anticipation by watching the sea where you'll soon be swimming. Plenty of shade makes it comfortable even on a hot summer morning.

能登島にある八ヶ崎海水浴場は、2026年は7月19日(日)から8月16日(日)まで開設されます(期間中、7月21・22・28・29日と8月4・5日は休場日)。七尾湾に面した内海のビーチのため波が穏やかで、小さな子ども連れでも水遊びがしやすいのが特長です。トイレ・更衣室・シャワー(有料)が整っており、着替えや水遊び後のひとふきにも困りません。売店はないので、飲み物や軽食は事前に用意しておくと安心です。波打ち際での水遊びから砂遊びまで、夕方までのんびり過ごしましょう。
Tips
駐車場は普通車800円・軽自動車500円・バイク300円、シャワーは1分100円なので小銭を用意しておきましょう。売店がないため、飲み物や軽食は道の駅や水族館周辺で事前に調達しておくのがおすすめです。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルが役立ちます。
Tips
Located just beyond the Noto-jima Aquarium parking lot, it's an easy stop to make during your route. With benches and shelters, it's perfect for a short rest with hydration.
Best time to visit
About 45 minutes required. A good time for a light break before heading to the aquarium.
