About this spot

Ishikawa Prefecture's representative aquarium, featuring mainly creatures from waters near the Noto Peninsula. The large tank called "Blue World" where whale sharks swim is spectacular, and walking through the tunnel tank makes you feel like strolling through the ocean. The facility offers abundant events including dolphin and sea lion shows and penguin walk times, keeping even small children entertained. There are also interactive experience corners where you can get up close with sea creatures—a must-see island attraction.

Tips

The layout is stroller-friendly, with rental strollers and nursing rooms available. Check the dolphin show times at the entrance and plan your route accordingly for best experience. The parking lot is free and spacious, but it can get crowded before noon on holidays, so arriving early in the morning is recommended.

Best time to visit

Approximately 2.5 hours required. Early morning right after opening is less crowded and easier to catch the shows
