About this spot

A representative beach of Iwaki City, opening from July 18 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The gently sloping sandy beach with calm waves has a lifeguard station, allowing families to safely enjoy beach play. The beach house "SEA-HOUSE HAMAKAZE" offers meals, rest areas, and shower facilities. Public toilets and portable toilets are also available, making it comfortable for families with small children. About 400 free parking spaces are available, making it convenient for car visitors. From water play at the shoreline to sandcastle building, fully enjoy the summer sea until closing time at 4 PM.

Tips

Swimming is free, but beach house use is about 1,200 yen for adults and 800 yen for children; showers are about 200 yen per use. Beach sandals are essential as summer sand is hot. Closing is at 4 PM, so wrap up about 15 minutes early to allow time for changing. The parking lot is free with plenty of about 400 spaces, but weekends, especially around mid-August, can be crowded.

Best time to visit

From 1 PM onward, you have plenty of swimming time and can spend the afternoon at a relaxed pace.
