A museum introducing the island's formation and materials excavated from the Haranoji Ruins—a Yayoi-period site on the island. From the observation terrace, you can overlook the rural landscape of Iki, and the air-conditioned interior is a nice spot to rest while viewing during hot summer hours. The museum also features child-friendly exhibits and experience corners, making it perfect as a day's start for introducing island history.
Tips
The air-conditioned interior is ideal for escaping the heat before heading to the sea. Barrier-free design makes it easy to view with a stroller. The gift shop also has souvenirs.

About 1 hour. Early morning around 10 am allows for relaxed viewing.
