Located in Iki City Ishida-cho, Tsutsugi Beach opens from July 18 (Saturday) to August 31 (Monday) 2026, with supervision from 9 am to 5 pm. Featuring calm, shallow-water waves and sandy beach, it's one of Iki Island's most popular beaches for families. The beautiful contrast between clear, transparent sea and white sand makes it an ideal environment where even small children can safely enjoy water play and sandcastle building through evening.

Tips

Summer sand gets very hot, so beach sandals are essential. Strong sun makes shade tents or parasols helpful for extended stays. Supervision ends at 5 pm, so wrapping up a bit early to allow changing time is recommended.

Best time to visit

From after 1 pm through evening, you can enjoy plenty of swimming within supervision hours.
