A 7-minute ferry ride to an uninhabited island beach. Pristine white sandy beach spreads out

About this spot

Located on the uninhabited island of Tsutajima, about a 7-minute ferry ride from Nio Port. The beach opens from July 5 (Sunday) to August 30 (Sunday), 2026, with ferries running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Ferry fare is 600 yen (round trip) for adults and 300 yen for children, with swimming itself free. The pristine white sandy beach and crystal-clear waters stretch out, and the calm waves characteristic of the Seto Inland Sea are safe for small children. Facilities include showers (fee-based), toilets, and pavilions (fee-based), but there are no changing rooms, so wearing a swimsuit beforehand is recommended. Enjoy the peace and quiet unique to an uninhabited island, basking in the sea until evening.
