A beach adjacent to Tottori City's Karo Port, open from July 18 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026. Swimming hours are 9:30-16:00 on weekdays, 9:00-17:00 on weekends and holidays. This free-entry beach is managed by the Karo Port Tourism Association and lined with seafood restaurants, so you won't lack for food and rest after swimming. From shallow-water play to sand castles, enjoy the beach's distinct character—quite different from Tottori Dunes—as this day's climax.

Tips
Swimming is free, but check in advance with the Karo Port Tourism Association about changing rooms and showers. Summer sand gets hot, so bring beach sandals. On weekdays, swimming ends at 16:00, so plan to wrap up by 15:45 to allow time for changing.
Best time to visit
After 2 PM, sun intensity eases, providing plenty of time to swim.
