Located about 10 minutes by car from Uratsutsu Beach, this is one of the representative scenic spots of the Sanin Kaigan Geopark. The contrast between white rock faces and blue sea is stunning, and with various rock formations and small islands scattered about, it's also called the "Matsushima of Sanin." From the walking trails and observation spots, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the complex coastline created by dramatic cliffs and inlets. It's perfect for photography in the crisp morning air. Some areas have slippery footing, so wear sturdy shoes. Enjoy the scenery slowly with family as a warm-up before swimming.

鳥取県岩美町にある浦富海水浴場は、2026年は7月17日(金)から8月16日(日)まで海開き。山陰海岸ジオパークの美しいリアス式海岸に抱かれた、透明度の高い海水と白い砂浜が自慢のビーチです。遊泳は無料で、砂浜には海の家が立ち並び、食事や休憩、有料の温水シャワー(2分200円)も利用できます。更衣室は海の家利用時に使えるほか、コインロッカーも用意されているので手荷物も安心です。波打ち際での水遊びから沖での遊泳まで、家族それぞれのペースで夏の海を満喫できます。夕方まで思いきり泳いで、山陰の海の夏を締めくくりましょう。

Tips

駐車場は1日1,000円。夏休み期間は混雑するため、早めの到着がおすすめです。更衣室は海の家利用が前提なので、水着は自宅や車内で着ておくとスムーズ。温水シャワーは有料(2分200円)なので小銭を用意しておきましょう。

Tips

There's a short walk from the parking lot to the trail. When approaching rocky areas, avoid high-tide days, and keep close watch on small children. Summer mornings have strong sun—don't forget hat and drinks.
