About 10 minutes by car from Uradome Beach, this is one of the representative scenic spots of the San'in Coast Geopark. The beautiful contrast between the white rock faces and blue sea, along with the scattered large and small unusual rocks and islets, has earned it the nickname ‘Matsushima of San'in.’ From the promenade and viewing spots, you can take in the complex coastline shaped by cliffs and inlets, and it's also a great spot for photography in the clear morning air. Some areas underfoot can be slippery, so wear comfortable walking shoes for your stroll. Enjoy the scenery slowly with your family as a warm-up before swimming.

Tips

It's a short walk along the promenade from the parking lot. If approaching the rocky areas, avoid days with high waves, and keep a close eye on small children. The morning sun is strong in summer, so don't forget a hat and drinks.
