About this spot

Located on the way from Johara Coast toward Uradome Beach, this fishing port retains the atmosphere of a traditional fishing village. Fishing boats line the port, creating a leisurely fishing village scene. It's a spot where you can experience the intricate rias coastline unique to the San'in Coast up close, and a good place to stop and enjoy the scent of the sea and the atmosphere of a port town before swimming. Since the area around the port is a local access road, please be considerate and avoid getting in the way of cars or fishing work while strolling.

Tips

Keep your visit to the port brief. In summer there's little shade, so bring a hat and stay hydrated. Please watch quietly so as not to disturb the fishing work.
