On the way from Shirohara Coast toward Uratsutsu Beach, this fishing port retains the charming atmosphere of a traditional fishing village. Fishing boats line the harbor, creating a laid-back village scene. It's a perfect spot to feel the ria coast geography unique to Sanin and enjoy the sea breeze and harbor town atmosphere before swimming. Be considerate of the surrounding residential area and fishery workers.

鳥取県岩美町にある浦富海水浴場は、2026年は7月17日(金)から8月16日(日)まで海開き。山陰海岸ジオパークの美しいリアス式海岸に抱かれた、透明度の高い海水と白い砂浜が自慢のビーチです。遊泳は無料で、砂浜には海の家が立ち並び、食事や休憩、有料の温水シャワー(2分200円)も利用できます。更衣室は海の家利用時に使えるほか、コインロッカーも用意されているので手荷物も安心です。波打ち際での水遊びから沖での遊泳まで、家族それぞれのペースで夏の海を満喫できます。夕方まで思いきり泳いで、山陰の海の夏を締めくくりましょう。
Tips
駐車場は1日1,000円。夏休み期間は混雑するため、早めの到着がおすすめです。更衣室は海の家利用が前提なので、水着は自宅や車内で着ておくとスムーズ。温水シャワーは有料(2分200円)なので小銭を用意しておきましょう。
Tips
Keep your stop brief. In summer, there's little shade, so bring a hat and water. Observe quietly to avoid disturbing the fishery work.
Best time to visit
Takes 30-45 minutes. Morning visits when the harbor is most lively are recommended.
