About this spot

This park is set on a hilltop overlooking Kisarazu Port (木更津港), with its symbolic observation tower, Kimisarazu Tower (きみさらずタワー), standing tall. From the observation floor, you get one of the best views in Kisarazu, taking in Kisarazu Port, the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line (東京湾アクアライン), and, on clear days, even the Kawasaki (川崎) side across the bay and Mount Fuji (富士山) beyond. The park is also full of greenery, so you can let the kids run around a little at the base of the tower. It's also worth looking out toward the sea where tonight's fireworks will launch while it's still daytime.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu (三井アウトレットパーク木更津). The observation floor can be windy on some days, so bringing something to layer on is reassuring. Parking is available within the park.

About 45 minutes. On clear days you can see far into the distance
