This is the area in front of JR Kisarazu Station (木更津駅), the heart of Kisarazu City. The station building and surrounding area have restaurants and souvenir shops scattered about, convenient for a bit of last-minute shopping on your trip. It also works well as a rest stop before heading to the hotel for the fireworks, whether to freshen up into lighter clothing or pick up a drink.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Nakanoshima Park (中の島公園). Roads around the area can get congested in the evening with traffic heading to the hotel, so allow yourself plenty of time to travel.
