Inside the castle-like structure, exhibits showcase armor and pirate-related artifacts, and from the reconstructed tower you can overlook Innoshima's sea and surrounding islands. While pirates may seem fierce, these exhibits reveal they were actually a maritime warrior clan that served as pilots and maritime traffic guides in the Seto Inland Sea. This is a family-friendly spot to discover Innoshima's unique maritime history. Situated on a hilltop, the pleasant sea breeze makes even summer comfortable.

2026年7月20日(月・祝)開催、しまなみ海道の島・因島重井町のビーチを舞台にした花火大会です。海に向かって開けたビーチから見上げる花火は、遮るもののない大きな夜空いっぱいに広がり、波の音とともに楽しめるのが海辺の花火ならではの魅力です。SHIMANAMI BEACH FES 2026という名の通り、音楽やイベントとあわせて楽しめる島の夏フェスの締めくくりとして打ち上がります。潮風の中で見上げる花火は、しまなみ海道を旅する夏の思い出としても格別です。

Tips

会場は当日混雑が予想されるため、場所取りは16時台からがおすすめです。荒天時は中止の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了後は橋を渡る道が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰路がおすすめです。

About 15 minutes by car from Shimanami Beach. Stone steps and slopes are present, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Remember to stay hydrated in summer. About 10 minutes by car to the next destination, Innoshima Flower Center.
