A soaring curved elevated bridge connecting Chinen and Sachiki in Nanjo City. "Niraika Nai" refers to an Okinawan paradise believed to exist beyond the ocean. The observation point partway along the bridge reveals spectacular vistas where Pacific coastline and sky seem to merge. Though driving across is exhilarating, stopping at the observation point is perfect for photos. View the southern sea where tonight's fireworks will light up from a different daytime perspective.

与那原町の与那古浜公園を会場に、7月20日(月・祝)15時から20時30分まで開かれる夏祭りです。浴衣姿の来場者でにぎわう出店が並び、地元の踊りや催しで祭りムードが盛り上がります。日が暮れるとともに夜風が心地よくなる浜辺の公園で、フィナーレには夜空を彩る花火が打ち上がります。打上げ数は公表されていませんが、地域に根づいたお祭りならではのアットホームな雰囲気の中で、締めくくりにふさわしい花火を楽しめます。1日の締めくくりに家族で夜空を見上げるひとときです。

Tips

駐車場は台数に限りがあるため、早めの到着がおすすめです。荒天時は日程が変更・中止になる場合があるため、当日は与那原町の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、余韻を楽しみながら少し時間をおいての帰宅がおすすめです。

About 5 minutes by car from Hamabe no Chaya. The observation point has limited parking—during crowded times, enjoy the car-window view instead. Intense daytime sun requires sunprotection.
