About this spot

A sightseeing cruise around Lake Hibara, Urabandai's largest lake, formed by Mt. Bandai's eruption. Numerous islands of varying sizes dot the lake, and the majestic form of Mt. Bandai viewed across the water represents the stunning landscapes unique to Urabandai. Step out onto the deck to feel the cool lake breeze while leisurely enjoying the serene time on the water. It's also a great way to view the lake where tonight's fireworks will take place.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Goshikiぬま Nature Exploration Trail. Check operating conditions in advance as they vary by season and weather. Bring a hat as sun exposure is strong on the deck.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour. The placid lake surface in the afternoon is most beautifully seen
