A relatively small and quiet lake adjacent to Lake Hibara. The landscape of submerged trees with bare branches protruding from the water surface is particularly striking, and the way the scenery reflects in the mirror-like calm waters is popular among photographers. Unlike the bustling atmosphere of Lake Hibara, this is a place to experience Urabandai's quiet and tranquil nature. As evening approaches, you can slowly watch the color of the lake surface gradually change.
Tips
About 5 minutes by car from the Hibara Lake cruise boat dock. The lakeside walking path is maintained but has some rough sections, so wear comfortable shoes.
