About this spot

A facility in Yokote, Misasa Town, where you can experience the local culture of Misasa. You can try Hakuro-yaki pottery, which makes the most of an earthy texture inspired by the White Wolf legend, and Misasa-ori weaving, dyed with Tottori pears, and there's also a marketplace and cafe gathering local specialties known as the table of the gods, unique to Misasa. Since you can spend a relaxed stretch of time indoors, away from the summer sun, it's also a good idea to use the time before the fireworks in the evening for handicrafts and souvenir hunting.

Tips

The promenade is paved, but please watch your footing since it runs along the river. Even with plenty of shade, insects tend to appear in summer, so insect repellent is reassuring to have. Next, head back to the onsen district toward the night stalls.
