About this spot

The Summer Toba Bay Nightly Fireworks, held every night from Saturday, July 25 through Sunday, August 23, 2026, as a hallmark of Toba's summer. Every night, for about five minutes starting around 8:30 PM, fireworks color the night sky over Toba Bay. A distinctive feature is that the launch location shifts by period among Obama, Obama Bay, Anrakujima Bay, and Sadahama, with the July 25 launch scheduled from the Obama area. Since the launch from Sadahama is from August 15 onward, check the day's launch location and a good viewing spot in advance. Fireworks that continue every night despite their short duration, conveying the warm hospitality of Toba.
