Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this is the climax of the Kamigori River Festival Fireworks, capping off summer in Kamigori Town. From 7pm to 8pm, 1,700 fireworks shells color the night sky along the Chikusa River. The powerful fireworks, with sound echoing off the surrounding mountains typical of a mountain-ringed basin, are a real highlight. After a day taking in Kamigori Town's nature and history - from the castle ruins to river play - these fireworks make a fitting finale.
