About this spot

An aquarium located on the banks of the Chitose River that specializes in freshwater fish. The facility features tanks that recreate the Chitose River environment, where you can observe salmon swimming upstream during the season. Known as one of Japan's largest freshwater fish aquariums, you can encounter various fish species that inhabit rivers and lakes throughout Hokkaido. The cool interior is also a welcome relief during summer tourism.

2026年7月25日(土)開催、北千歳駐屯地内のスキー山を会場にした花火大会です。19時45分から20時30分までの45分間、約4,000発の花火が夜空を彩ります。新千歳空港の開港100年という節目を記念した特別な回で、例年以上の盛り上がりが期待できます。空の玄関口として発展してきた千歳の歴史を祝う、夏の締めくくりにふさわしい花火です。

Tips

荒天時は中止または延期となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は事前に確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。

Tips
